The Otherness? Is that an EP or a full CD? I know they're supposed to come out with another Amorphous Androgynous (I'll skip it this time, thanks) album and FSOL too...

FSOL have released both The Isness as Full CD in own right, and as Amorphous Anrogynous... Tracks on each vary... you could say one is a remix of the other, some are the same. I THINK the Amorphous edition came out in 2001. Worth having both... certainly. Not heard the otherness yet, but I know it's out there. As for the Isness... It's the best thing I've heard since.... hmmm... that's tough... but for some years put it that way. www.futuresoundoflondon.com

Zeus No is great... I wish I had some green stuff... I'd be bouncing of the walls... not that I need much encouragement.... let me put it on again.

24th Mar, 16:39:44

Just add another note... you'd be surprised. It's far removed from Tales of Ephidrina, and perhaps any of the earlier FSOL stuff... maybe a return to Lifeforms in some sense. I can't emphasise enough how good it is.

GUID - Well, I didn't liked Isness at all and I'm a huge FSOL fan, so I guess I'll stay clear of future Amorphous Androgynous and stick with FSOL releases. Not that Isness is badly produced or anything, it's just not up my alley right now. Maybe one day it will, which will be worth a return to!

Say no more... except... hehe

Divinity is one of the most uplifting records ever produced by man or beast and Go Tell It To The Trees is something that should be blasted out of the Tube as everyone goes to work each day. We would all be happier for it.

Seriously :) .. each to there own... but to the courious.. go buy (or download - we have to live with it) and THEN BUY... Future Sound Of London The Isness/Amorphous Androgynous The Isness... before pre-ordering Banco De Gaia You Are Here which certainly sounds like something special.

Unfortunately there will be no more Badmarsh and Shri records as the Badmarsh has called it quits. Awful! Hopefully Shri will carry on.

Gary Numan - Exposure, some of the greatest tracks he's done from '77 to 2000. Seriously recommended. Oh, and Salmonella Dub (NZ band) Outside The Dub Plates (remix) album is just fantastic ! I'm off to get The Isness ....

Being a huge fan of that amazing album "The Isness", I was really annoyed that you can only buy "The Otherness" as a double CD packaged up with the first one. Aaaaaaaargh! On the plus side, have been wigging out to "Spirals In Hyperspace" again and also The Flaming Lips "Yoshimi Battles The Pink Robots." SCI-FI STEVE... http://www.stephenpalmer.co.uk

Oh, and another I picked up recently: Tabla Beat Science - Live in San Francisco. 2 CDs of an *awesome* live band playing music that's nice n' crazy. I mean, sure, that's a lot of tabla, but if you like the studio album you certainly won't be disappointed with this one. And to think I got it used for $13!

This week me and Mr Blue Sky have mostly been listening to 'Last Train to Lhondon' by Electric Light Orchestra (ELO) - mmm, niiice. Also, radio 3, radio 5, my local radio station on the next street who are now illegal (again actually - they were in the Guardian recently), some very naughty scallies who can rap faster than I can think (all I caught was something about girls and playstations) on another illicit local station (my city is awash with transmission), people shouting 'Big Issue', HGVs, the birds who are desperate to find partners at the moment - its spring! (apparently robins will sing themselves to death in the hunt for the perfect mate), and talking heads too, like making flippy floppy "Our President's crazy.." etc...And Jerry Harrison, and Les Negress Vertes' too. In fact I need some peace (preferably in Iraq)

Babylons Burning by the ruts plus a lot of their stuff from the albums 'The Crack', and 'Grin & Bear it', plus some great old punkies like X-ray Spex and the Rezillos (flying saucer attack, destination venus etc....)

also 'Duck Asteroid' from the 3lp LTTL and 'Drunk as a monk' from Big men Cry!

The whole 'X-RAY SPEX' anthology, also a track from the 'flowers of romance' album by 'Public image' called 'Four Encolsed walls'. Could easily be mistaken for something that has been recently released, have a listen folks if anyone gets the chance!
