The big news of the day is the release on Bandcamp today of the first single from my new album. Yes, you read that right – new music, new album ….. finally!
“My Little Country” is a re-work of the track I made for the Outlaw Oceans project a few years ago. Sadly the initiative ran into complications and the release was pulled. I’ve been tweaking away at it since then, and added a new voice over by a friend who used to work for the BBC.
Also on the release are two stunning remixes by local musical whizz Simon Power, under his Marine Boy moniker (remember them from the 90’s?), and my old compatriot Rob Bong, from Children of the Bong (ditto!), plus an instrumental for those of you who don’t like vocals. The EP will come out via Spotify and the rest on November 3rd, but is available from today via Bandcamp. As for the album …. watch this space.
